Gosha Village (五車町) is the headquarters of the Taimanin created by assembling the shinobi and clans, who were originally scattered across Japan.
The new-village is located somewhere hidden in the Kanto region and has been build near ancient forests and mountains.
Really! It's a little unbelievable. To stealthily sneak into Gosha Village would be difficult if I used the “Shadow Art”, and yet...
Name[]
"Gosha" means "Five Wheels".
"Five" (Go) elements of Yin and Yang that are tree, fire, earth, gold and water, that are the basis of ninja arts. Wheel (sha) that ninja had used since ancient times. -i.e., Shuriken.
History[]
Overview[]
Though the village likely existed in some form since ancient times, it was not originally used as the headquarters for all Taimanin. Gosha Village formed from the fusion of several smaller villages and Taimanin clans, eventually reaching a population of 10,000. In the north of the village once stood the Castle of Narashino Nagatake. Nagatake being a tyrant from the Middle Ages who wielded his own Demon Gate before it became inactive. Beneath parts of Gosha lie even older ruins, linked to the so-called Goddess of Dawn, Ushas, which are in truth remnants of Brain Flayers constructions of an unknown purpose, which are still not fully explored.
A few years before the Fuuma Revolt, the Taimanin Unification began, leading to the construction of a single, unified village for the various Taimanin clans, who previously lived in separate villages. This process culminated around the year 2065. In 2068, Gosha Village clashed with Fuuma Village in a conflict over leadership and influence within the modern Japanese government. The government secretly financed the village, establishing Gosha Academy as its headquarters, which was completed soon after. Concealed by a mix of modern technology and advanced Ninja Arts, the village is hidden deep within perilous forests and mountains. The nearest city is Maesaki, still three hours away, with multiple transfers by bus and train.
Gosha was established following a major political crisis and increasing interference from the Demon World. Its Taimanin, now referred to as Gosha Taimanin, regard all other unaffiliated clans as Rogue Taimanin, though this is not necessarily a moral judgment. Initially funded illegally, and later legally under Section Three and the supervision of the Chief Cabinet Secretary, the project remains secret from the public. Early leadership disputes saw the Fuuma clan act as intermediaries to the government, but control later shifted to the Igawa clan and its elders. Internal strife would weaken the elders, consolidating power under the Igawa clan head, who also holds the role of Taimanin Chief Commander. Koukawa Village would settle near Gosha but not fully integrate into them, and was destroyed in a battle with Nomad in the Koukawa Massacre. Meaning that of the three biggest Taimanin clans, only the Igawa remained in full strength.
Government suppression ensures that knowledge of the village remains hidden from the public, though individuals like Yamamoto Nobushige of Section Three maintain contact. Gosha Academy serves as both the village's headquarters and main training facility, where most Taimanin receive missions and education. As the Academy’s principal, Igawa Asagi functions as the de facto mayor of Gosha Village.
Visual Novels[]
It is not stated, but Gosha Academy is finished in year 2070, which makes the year construction in 2065 possible. Taimanin Kurenai, plays still slightly before Gosha is established but already shows the growing conflict between Fuuma and Igawa, as Section Three considers and later appoints, Igawa Shuzen as Taimanin Chief Commander.
The Fuuma Revolt takes place, year 2068, in which Oboro and Asagi joined forces and defeated Fuuma Danjo, which allowed the village to continue in its current form but forced the Fuuma clan to flee. The village is first seen in Taimanin Murasaki, year 2075, in which Yamamoto confirms the final integration into Section Three, making Taimanin officially secret agents of Japan. In the year 2078, comes a pro Nomad politician with a group of Taimanin, a trap he laid out fails, and he attempts to defeat the Taimanin with his political weight as Chief secretary of the Minshin Party. However, the Taimanin are able to confirm his corruption and after legal battles and a lost election, the Taimanin remain in place.
In year 2082, the Occupation and Raid of the Kanda Brigade takes place, in which Prime Minister, Koujirou Asai and leader of the Liberal National Party, attempts to fully take over the village and enslave its population. The leader of the village, Asagi, had been blamed for the assassination of the Chief Cabinet Secretary and went into hiding. After Asai's death, could the lies of him be revealed thanks to Yamamoto and village control went back to Asagi. The village still suffered significant damage, with almost half of the student population being killed.
Timeline ZERO[]
A new timeline, created in another route of TA3. In the ZERO Universe, it is explicitly stated in Taimanin Saga that Gosha Village had been finished in 2065. Yamamoto is currently the leader of the Taimanin, with both Fuuma clan and Koukawa clan in the village, but the Igawa clan remained rogue. Even after talks with Yamamoto Nobushige (ZERO), Igawa Asagi (ZERO) remained neutral, but the relationship to the village had improved.
Timeline TABA[]
Shared timeline with Visual Novels, so again probably 2065. The Fuuma Revolt is mentioned, year 2068, Fuuma Revolt is mentioned, year 2068, in which Oboro and Asagi joined forces and defeated Fuuma Danjo, which allowed the village to continue in its current form but forced the Fuuma clan to flee.
However, no occupation, though some conflict in 2082 arrives, during a small assault of the UFS. Typically, the Village is hostile to both the Fuuma Organization and the Fuuma Clan Danjo Loyalists. However, would work with the Fuuma Organization in the end against Nomad.
Timeline RPGX[]
Shared timeline with Visual Novels, again probably 2065. The Fuuma Revolt is mentioned and seen, year 2068, Fuuma Danjo would die thanks to multiple attacks of the Igawa Elders and the poison of Igawa Senshu. His son made later peace with Gosha, and the Fuuma were allowed to live in the village as well. The Igawa Elders would, in the year 2070, try to take full control over their clan in the Igawa Revolt but were stopped by united forces of new Taimanin clans, including the Fuuma. The Koukawa clan that assisted would move closer, but not into Gosha, clan was later destroyed in year 2072, this time in the Koukawa Massacre performed by the Wraith Faction of Teutates. In secret, the Gosha Serial Murders also took place.
No occupation but in 2082, the Nisha Insurrection takes place in which the Nisha clan split from the village. In the following years, the village would be attacked by a reformed Igawa Elder Revolt Group but defended itself. A partnership with Rollo Viscounty in the demon realm could be established.
Timeline Action[]
Shares most aspects with RPGX but does not show all the numbers. Around 2082 and onward came it to minor outbreaks of CD Virus infected creatures, which could all be suppressed, though the forests at times still harbor leftovers. As a result of a failed mission, which was a false flag of Task Force G and a pro Nomad politician, Gosha is currently under harsh investigation, leaving Asagi currently limited until the matter is resolved.
Timeline GOGO![]
After ten years of fights against Nomad and Oboro, was Asagi able to make a peace deal between them. Nomad for the most part was disbanded, and Edwin Black joined the Gosha as staff. Even though demon realm and human realm, as well as UFS, Japan and Chinese Union overcame their hate, Oboro continued to attack the village. However, Asagi approves this to keep everyone on edge. Beyond this below Gosha something was found, which had appeared one day, the Labyrinth Dungeon.
