Succubus (サキュバス) and Incubus (インキュバス), Inma/Lewd Demons/Dreamers (淫魔) are a female and male based demons of higher rank.
Using their sexual appeal to drain men or women of energy with sexuality, entering's dreams resulting in fatiguing bodies or death.
Characteristics[]
A female version is called a Succubus and the male once are Incubus. Both can work together at times but prefer other species as partners.
Stealing energy from other demons or humans in their dreams, they can control dreams and use their sexuality to drain life force. As a powerful magical tribe of demons, highly intelligent and beautiful, they were one of the most powerful races in the Dark World. Though having magic, most avoid a direct fight and work with subliminal brainwashing, infiltration and disguises.
They present themselves as lustful femme fatale or womanizers, even if that isn't the case for all of them.
Culture[]
Lower ranking members get at times distracted, and superiors and elders put them back in line. However, independence is valued by most of the species, and they are free-spirited. Both Succubus and Incubus tend to prefer more intelligent targets. Based on statements of Fürst (in Taimanin Asagi 3) they lost a lot of power and in parts became myth, after a magical experiment they performed backfired and destroyed most of their civilization and presence in the Dark World. Turned into Injuu (Lewd beasts) of amorphous nature, only known for their high sex drive and low intelligence, with a few members escaping that fate. In TY2 and the Online Universes, both versions seem to exist, so it can be assumed that it maybe only hit one of the tribes of the Incubus/Succubus just like with the corrupted Hades Incubus/Succubus tribe.
Multiple Incubus Factions have been shown over the series.
- The clan under Incubus King, Kuroi Ryuuji, aiming to rule the demon and human world. In Canon and TABA.
- The tribe under Incubus King, Kamadeva and later Mizuki Shiranui, known as one of the 9 Noble Demon Families. In RPGX.
- The Hades Incubus/Succubus tribe under Ereshkigal, once part of the 9 nobles, but cursed by Kamadeva. In RPGX.
- The Mysterious Incubus Group under the Mysterious Man.
- The Injuu creatures less of a culture and more wild beast but once a powerful tribe.
Some have joined a faction under the Incubus King, which tries to take out Black and take over the Dark World by capturing Taimanin. It is mentioned in Taimanin Asagi 3 that after the death of Edwin Black, they have returned to fill the power vacuum. Both Incubus and Succubus are seen the most in the online games.
Appearance[]
Succubus look like attractive human women. They can have one or multiple demonic features as well, however among them: wings, horns, tail and pointed ears. Incubus in turn are good-looking male human-like demons, with horns and wings.
Within dreams, they are able to control their form.

- Dream Painter are a species mentioned in the English version of Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, with identical abilities. Succubus are also called "Dream Demons", it seems to be that they either are a subrace or simply a mistranslation.
- The Incubus King might be similar to Edwin Black (Vampire King) as both have true forms.
- The term Incubus Faction is used for servants of the Incubus King, but not all Incubus and Succubus belong to it.
- A cursed form of this species is the Hades Incubus/Succubus.
- Demons like Mariana also seem to be Succubus.
