Kosuke Sawaki (沢木 浩介) is the protagonist of the first part of the Asagi route, in Taimanin Asagi 3.
He is Asagi's adopted son and brother of her former boyfriend. A newby Taimanin mostly focus on investigation missions, that has not awoken to his Taima Art at the beginning.
Personality[]
Kosuke hates to be seen as a child and feels unworthy, for not awakening to a combat ability for the longest time. He wants to repay the debt of gratitude that Asagi raised him, and also wants her to see him as a respectable man.
Kosuke has a strong desire to prove his abilities and become stronger but is frustrated that he still lacks behind, in combat he fights very tactical but lacks quick intuition. Other students seem to dislike Kosuke and make fun of him also because they think he gets special treatment from Asagi.
While having sex he can act really rough and dominant using crude words but as soon as the sex ends, he returns to a more apologetic personality. Kousuke seems good-hearted and wants to get stronger for Asagi to become worthy for her.

In the games, Kousuke is never shown until he is turned into a meatball. In the OVA, he has black hair and brown eyes.

Background[]
The younger brother of Sawaki Kyousuke and part of the Sawaki clan. As a Taimanin, just as his brother, he has not awoken to any Taimanin Art.
Born around 2065, and one year younger than Koukawa Asuka.
After his brother's death in the Nomad run Chaos Arena, 2072. Igawa Asagi decide to raise the boy in honor of her late boyfriend. He, like other Taimanin goes to Gosha Academy with his "aunt" Sakura being one of his teachers. In the official manga "TA3: Beauty Enbi", Yuuki Enbi is seen as his partner on missions giving long distance tactical support. Enbi seems to be interested in him, but he does not notice.
Kosuke lived along with Sakura and Asagi as well as his other, one year older, adopted sister Asuka, as a family in the Igawa Estate. One day Asuka went missing, rushing into a fight with Nomads boss Edwin Black but got into contact with him one year later in secret. Both have been meeting, at rare times, with Asuka deeply caring for her brother.
Visual Novels[]
In Taimanin Asagi 3, 2082, Kousuke fell in love with Asagi, just as his brother did in the past but felt like he needed to awaken to his ability to be useful to her. Using the help of the medical expert Muroi Mitsuhiko and his drugs, he awoke to a bedroom-art. As thanks for the help, Kosuke was pushed to use his art on the person he loved and collect data, listening to some of Mitsuhiko's advice.
Using his ability on her in secret at first, Asagi figured out immediately but wasn't too upset. Both had sex multiple times after this, and they fell in love, hiding the relationship from Sakura and others at Gosha Village. Though he gained a lot of confidence and also takes his physical training more serious, Kosuke would use his ability to enhance, the sex and Asagi's arousal to it. However, was too late informed by Asagi, that after doing some research, Sawaki clan member could not inherit this Ninja Art in any natural way. Though impregnating Asagi the trap made by Mitsuhiko, that turned out to be just a disguise of Fürst, snapped.
Kosuke was turned into a ball of meat by Fürst, which could be used to control the "demon baby spawn" within Asagi, controlling her movement. However, before Asagi could be captured by Oboro, that now also made her presence known, Kosuke awoke to his true Taima Art that could control metal and attacked Oboro and Fürst. The extra time was used by Murasaki that was informed by Kiryu Sabato, just in time about Mitsuhiko. Unable to capture Asagi and with their cover blown, Oboro and Fürst escaped with the help of an arriving Ingrid, with only Kosuke in hand.
Kosuke's was kept alive as a way to blackmail Asagi later on, but their "demon baby spawn", which was created by the fake awoken Taima art, was aborted before it could be used again as a tool against Asagi. His mind sinking into darkness by the power of Fürst, he becomes now mostly irrelevant as an actor in the story but is subsequently used by Oboro to pressure Asagi and Asuka into submitting to her every command.
At some point, he is given to Oboro's subordinates in the true ending and recovered by Asuka. After the true death of Edwin Black, he is sent back to Gosha Academy and with the help of Murasaki and Kiryu Sabato his mind was restored. However, his body has not and he currently still a talking "meatball" with Sakura and others trying to cheer him up about the situation, while Asagi and Asuka independent of each other search for a cure. Tough sounding grim, the situation is more left humors as he is doing fine for the most part and isn't in pain, just trusting the others to find a solution.
Timeline TABA[]
TABA plays instead of TA3 events. From the year 2082 until 2086.
Appears in later released Koukawa Asuka "what if" events, in which she wears a kimono and is able to get his attention. Both have fun with each other for some time, and Asuka shows her more soft side.
Later is mentioned as captured by a criminal gang in another Asuka event, in which she tries to rescue him, but Fuuma Kotaro also learns of the situation and follows. His fate is unknown, but he probably had been rescued. In this timeline, he is never transformed into a meatball by Fürst, as Kotaro's action draw to much attention from Black for the normal plans to continue.
Timeline RPGX[]
TA3 did not happen, Fürst was also posing as the medical staff, Mitsuhiko but it is not known if both had any contact.
Kosuke does not appear in any story events so far, but is seen in one of Igawa Asagi "What If" lewd events. In which, similar to TA3, both enter a very romantic and physical relationship for a long time. This is not considered canon to the normal events of RPGX, but his body is clearly visible. Additionally, he is mentioned especially for his skills, unlike his TA3 version, which still struggles in combat.
However, other units of Asagi suggest that the "normal canon" version might never have encountered either Kosuke nor his brother.
Timeline Action[]
The events of TA3 did not play out, but his brother still died in the events of the Chaos Arena. However, multiple details must be changed, as Sakura is much younger in this timeline.
Has not been mentioned, but probably still exist as his brother was indirectly mentioned, as a deceased lover of Asagi. Some of the items in the game, joke talk about strange movies, in which characters with similar names to him and Akiyama Tatsuro are having their own nonsense stories.

While he himself is not mentioned. Asagi's fight against the demonic side is labeled with "10 years", the timeframe often fits between 2072 and 2082. As of 2072, would have been TA1, it is unknown if his brother died in the chaos arena in this timeline.

- Missing a lot of his scenes, only really going into the first night with Asagi, not their ongoing relationship. However, he has a face now. Following the Orc Bride Bad Ending of Taimanin Asagi 3 he is kept alive for a while but probably has gone insane at this point.
- In Taimanin Asagi 3: Beauty Enbi, Degeneration Transformation, Kousuke is the partner of Yuuki Enbi. Unknown to him, his squad partner is in love with him. Follows the TA3 story somewhat as a semi-prequel of TA3.

Main Weapon: Ninjato
- Ninja Art: "Metal Art", "Magnetism" His real Ninja skill with which he can control metallic objects. He awakened to that ability after being turned into a meat ball, and tried to save Asagi regardless.
- Ninja Art (Implanted): "Thorns of Flame", "Carnal Techniques" produces a long plant like thorn. Stung women womb "burning" go into "heat" and the user can manipulate pleasure at will. Might belong to the "Wood Arts".
- Tactical Fighter: Fighting is not his specialty, but he is able to plan multiple moves ahead when fighting Sakura in a trainings match.
- Particle Control: Taimanin are able to manipulate Taima Particles to enhance their physical strength, speed and defense. The particles are also used to counter demonic influences and strengthen damage to demons.

- Both he and his brother have been with Asagi. Both he and his brother have been turned into a deformed "thing" in the end.
- He is one year younger than Koukawa Asuka. His age is pretty much bound to Asuka's, which could make him in the worst younger.
- Kosuke is not really seen in TA1 or TA2.
- He has not been cured of being a meatball yet, but is doing better.
- Both Sakura and Murasaki are in the know about Asagi and his relationship at the end of the game.
- Kousuke was originally planned to be Sakura's love interest in latter installments, but this was latter dropped in favor of having Sakura being a Ship Tease with Murasaki, instead.
