Reika Shiki (志木 麗佳) is a main character of Onmyo Knight Towako.
A female butler in the service of Yagyuu Towako. Reika is a former Onmyoji Knight, that is able to fight demons with her Familiar. She is also an old friend of Fuuma Tokiko, and in Taimanin RPGX works as a teacher in Gogyo Academy at times.
Personality[]
A polite woman and loyal butler to Towako, she cares for her friends and duty. A calm, cool and self-controlled mature women, but if angered becomes a beast.
Regardless of situation, Reika tends to remain aloof to danger, and will use the same soft smile to tease friends and give stern words to Towako as her guardian, for her not lady-like behavior. Reika can be really violent and getting on her wrong side is a quick way to lose limbs, though people consider her to be stern she is also a kind person to her friends and will always help them out, even being flexibility regarding her duty to Japan to serve her friends first, while remaining "neutral" superficially.
Reika can outsmart her opponents and can not be provoked easily. Acting rather formal and quiet but if put into a battle situation, she also can show a merciless pursuit. She is feared by her enemies, known for being relentless fighting style. Unlike Towako, that fights with her fist, she prefers to use weapons, that allow her to kill her targets quick.
Love is an area, Reika is struggles with to even give advice on, and seems to lack experience or interest in.

She has one yellow eye and wears an eye patch on the other. Reika has long purple hair. When using She wore a black suit and also white gloves. A black shirt, white pants, and white gloves. her summon., she gains additional two arms.
When angered, her eye begins to glow and can glow past her eye patch.

Background[]
She became an Onmyoji at the age of 12, the youngest person ever to do so. The Shiki family has served other noble families for generations.
Reika became a butler of the Abe Family of Abe Yumei and Yagyuu Towako's parents. To become stronger, she joined the army at the age of 15 in order to "become a good butler who protects the young lady Towako", and after six years, age 21, in the army's special forces, she had mastered all kinds of combat techniques and is the master in the art of fighting, able to even teach Towako. In TABA it is mentioned that, during that time, she met Fuuma Tokiko and befriended her.
She was made into the guardian of Towako after the death of her parents, which were murdered by Yuyami. Reika was given orders to keep the family secret a secret even for Towako, so she could grow on her own. As such, Reika, does still listen to Abe Yumei in a way and watches over Towako for him.
Reika, together with Towako works in the "Shinmachi Paperback, Private Library", while Towako is at school she takes care of customers. Specially after the death of Towako's, parents, she was tasked to keep an eye on her. She is aware about some of the families secrets and works at the "Shinmachi Paperback, Private Library" as a butler for Towako.
Visual Novels[]
She became a target of the Incubus Shuten Douji, which disguised himself as a child visiting the library and hunted her drains. Shuten worked for Yuyami, which needed to have Reika out of the picture while capturing Towako and putting her into training. Reika herself was unable to act or explain her situation, thanks to a Curse Mark if Towako is unable to send a message to her allies in the Onmyo Agency, Reika's will, can be broken and she becomes a slave.
In the true ending, thanks to Rodrico Nakatomi of the agency that can negate any form of curse with his Shikigami Spirit, Reika is freed. Capturing, Shuten to find Towako in the Tower of Pleasure, Reika is able to free her and kills Shuten afterward. Both women fight against Yuyami and Abe Koso. Koso, which is the adopted son of Abe Yumei, had cooperated with Yuyami to get both his father and niece out of the picture and take over the Onmyo Agency himself. Reika, is able to overpower and kill Yumei which was a very strong fighter. However, Yuyami that had been broken into pieces, reformed herself as she sold her soul to her own Shikigami Spirit, after her battle with Towako. Only thanks to the arriving Abe Yumei, did Yuyami fled.
Yumei and Reika explained some of the family history to Towako and explained the danger of a great demon monster the White-faced, Golden-furred, Nine-tailed Fox, which had been sealed by the Abe family. With the life force of the master of the clan, acting as a seal. Afterward, Reika helps both Yumei and Towako, to bridge some of their awkward connection attempts.
Timeline TABA[]
The events of Onmyo Knight Towako might have played out or are about to play out.
Reika is introduced as one of Fuuma Tokiko friends, from the war, which understand each other also because of their shared "butler/guardian" role. She appears early on and in multiple events, often supporting Tokiko's quest to get with Kotaro, as she is able to read Tokiko easy. However, feels that Fuuma Kotaro (TABA) is very lacking, and many times will hunt him down, if she sees issue with his actions or lewdness. Reika is able to hold her own against both Taimanin and demons and is feared.
Both Reika and Tokiko meet up first at an UFS/Japan Halloween party. Tokiko asks Reika for help as the UFS targeted the Fuuma Organization bases and only with her help could her master Fuuma Kotaro escape Tokyo Kingdom. Reika worried that Tokiko would go alone otherwise agrees to help but states, that she is not a supporter of Fuuma Kotaro and as part of the Japan's Onmyoji, can not fight with Taimanin but if she fights the UFS, she will help.
Arriving in Tokyo Kingdom it is pure chaos, and both women fight their way to the UFS commander Io Orion. Reika kills the Raiden units, which were taken by Io, and makes her surrender. Rushing now to Kotaro that is hunted by the Fire Squad Unit of Kamimura Maika, both Maika and Reika clash but as stated before Reika just states that she will defend Tokiko. Maika grows frustrated but can not waste more time, as Kotaro is able to escape and later on uses the time to set up a trap. Tokiko thanks Reika afterward, as Kotaro was able to survive.
Other events see both Tokiko and Reika go on vacation, and saves Kotaro later on from Red Line.
Reika also appears, when Fuuma Tokiko had been captured and took part in the diversion, together with Yatsu Murasaki (ZERO) she attacked Fuuma Danjo. While, Kotaro made his way to rescue Tokiko.

Mentioned to still be the butler of the Yagyuu family. A specialist in melee weapon combat, which mastered many Onmyoji skills. She belonged to the GSDF (Japan's army) as part of their special forces, for six years. In the past, she destroyed the demon Shuten Douji, which had gathered the demons of the human realm.
Reika is first seen in a mission at the "Cannibal Mansion" the location was distorted in space and time, entering the place would make escape impossible. Those without protection, would be driven insane and to their death thanks to the Abyss Eye, which remained invisible.
Shiki Reika, entered the mansion as part of an investigation. A Magician, Witch, demonic male and female mercenaries, and elite succubus and incubus all also had entered the location and had been driven into a loop of insanity. The guest took on the roles of "father, mother, daughter, son, and butlers" and would repeat the same day over and over again. Reika was able to protect her own mind, thanks to her Onmyoji magic, with student Danyang Hua remaining outside. A week had passed, in which Reika was treated like one of the butlers and deeply respected by the other members of the house, which went through the repeated motions.
At a blood-red moon, a chance for a counter-attack arose, as Reika entered the living area, an orgy which turned into a cannibalistic mindless feast was ongoing with the people forced by an unseen power. Reika, revealed the Abyss Eye, and it manipulated the people of the house to attack her. Her rage grew as she fought against the suffering souls of the people stuck in that limbo. Her student Danyang Hua, which used Feng Shui magic, entered the mansion as well and both fought against the creatures. Using the souls of the staff, Reika powered her Shikigami Spirit blades, and attacked the Abyss Eye, which once more escaped as it screamed from an unknown mouth. While Reika wanted to finish it off, Hua warned her that it escaped to a place where Feng Shui did not exist and a jump into such an unknown realm, was dangerous.
Reika returned to Gogyo Academy to do her report and was informed by the headmaster, that Kichi Azusa had resigned. Furthermore, she was informed that Shuten Douji had been resurrected in Yomihara. Supported by Miyoshi Uraha, Reika made her way to Yomihara, Shuten Douji had brainwashed the Oni women of the town but Reika gained assistance from the currently stationed Taimanin and pushed through. Tsushima Yukiko is called from Gosha Academy to assist, as her mind manipulating Ninja Art can counter the spell.
Both Reika and Uraha, go up ahead in further, into the main mansion which Shuten Douji uses as a base. After defeating multiple Red and Blue Oni, they confront Shuten Douji, which slowly remembers Reika, and after her defeat wishes to torture her in lustful ways until her death.
Shuten Douji takes on his true form, of a large oni with a red mask. The charmed oni women, arrive, cured of his control and begin to attack him in a large group. However, Shuten appears to be immortal and even Reika cannot cut his soul, like she did in the past. Kotaro arrives, and with the help of the Taimanin, they discover that the red mask holds Douji's body intact. Taking the mask off, the girls attack his body as revenge, before he asked to be killed, but before that is made to reveal that the one that resurrected him was Sorcerer Faust.
Shiki Reika breaks his mask and ends his life for the final time as he crumbles to dust. However, is concerned about a prophecy about Fausts return.

- Sword Master: She can switch her soul for a short time with a demonic sword master and gain their ability.

- There is a "Reika-chan fan club" led by the owner of a nearby shop.
- It is unclear how old Reika is during the game, cause it is unclear how long she worked as Towako's butler age 21.
- As Kamimura Maika sister Kamimura Azuma is an Onmyoji herself, the fact both Reika and Maika fought in TABA, is an odd coincidence.
