Prologue[]

Oboro Ninja Troops defeated by Asagi

Three years before the main story, high up in the rooftops of Tokyo, Igawa Asagi hunts for her prey. Serving under orders of the Japanese government, Asagi is tasked with the elimination of the head of the Oboro Ninja Troops, Oboro herself. Confrontation with Oboro leads to an ambush, in which Asagi is outnumbered, a trap which Oboro had set up.

Though numbers do not help against Asagi, the strongest Taimanin, and Oboro comes face-to-face with Oboro. Fighting ensues, in which Asagi uses her Ninja Art, and with extreme speed, strikes Oboro down. Oboro is decapitated and falls to the floor, ending the ONT, but Asagi knows that the true puppet master Nomad and their CEO Edwin Black are still active.

Main Plot[]

Three years passed following the events with Oboro. Asagi had in the meantime withdrawn as a Taimanin, and now lived it Tokyo, together with her fiancée Sawaki Kyousuke and sister, Igawa Sakura. However, she feels guilt, as things could not be solved, and she abandoned her duty for a peaceful life.

Called to meet the Igawa Senior/Elder, in the nearby park. The senior was a clan member, government agent, doubling as Taimanin overseer and teacher of Asagi. The senior reveals that multiple Taimanin have been assassinated over the course of months, with the ONT suspected of being behind the killings. The senior requests Asagi’s return to become a Taimanin, but she feels as though the taboo she has committed is too shameful to have her return.

Asagi arrives home some time later, greeting Sakura. Sakura expresses the desire to become Taimanin much like her sister, however Asagi is apprehensive about that wish. Knowing about the life and danger that Taimanin face.

Asagi meets up with the returning Kyousuke in their dojo for a fencing session. However, Kyousuke needs to go soon to meet with a possible successor of the Sawaki clan, the Sawaki which normally serve the Igawa, had for a long time no longer awoken members with Ninja Arts, the supernatural abilities that made them Taimanin. The fact, Asagi the clan head of the Igawa, was with a Sawaki itself a taboo, in the eyes of many. As Kyousuke was about to leave, he told Asagi he would join her in dinner later that night, brushing against her ring finger, as he suggested an important talk, with Asagi blushing at the prospect exited.

However, once the evening next day arrives, Kyousuke failed to appear, and similarly does not pick up his phone. After the dinner, Asagi makes up her mind, dressing up in her Taimanin outfit for the first time since she withdrew. Her expanded senses cause her to pick up on Sakura, who - wearing her own Taimanin outfit - joins along with her sister. Sakura admits to having trained in secret, outside of Asagi’s knowledge, but is permitted to go with her for intelligence gathering. They head for a market in the heart of the city, wherein a demon camp exists. Asagi and Sakura meet up with an orc, Byg, and then beat him up to get information. Byg speaks of the Chaos Arena, and the ONT’s involvement in such an underground fighting ring, before he is beaten unconscious by both Sakura and Asagi. The following day, the morning is spent plainly, though with Sakura getting out late before leaving for her normal school.

Sawaki Kyousuke 2

Asagi makes her way to the Dojo with still no word from Kyousuke, and she starts to worry in her own thoughts if he was seeing somebody else. Upon spending time in the dojo, Sakura quickly comes back with a letter for Asagi. The envelope is without name, but merely contains a strip of paper with the name “Oboro” written upon it. Sakura, leaves once again not too concerned to coming a little bit to school. However, as Asagi is alone again she feels a presence, and is surprised by the sudden appearance of Kyousuke, who in response to Asagi’s questions about his whereabouts presents an engagement ring.

Upon wearing the ring, accepting the proposal, Asagi’s instincts kick into effect, but leaves her confused from seeing nobody but Kyousuke in her surroundings. Upon questioning Kyousuke further about what he has been up to, he suddenly takes a sinister tone and leaps away. Kyousuke starts to change shape, the as the face of Oboro appears and his body fully switches to Oboro, now with multiple demonic tentacles. Oboro warns her old rival, Asagi, that if she attacks, she puts her lover's life at risk. Asagi gets ready to break her limbs and get Kyousuke out, but Oboro's new Ninja Art of Hypnoses activates, causing Asagi to be unable to move. Oboro explains that the ring, acted as a catalyst for her art, which could now fully control Asagi's body. Asagi asks how, Oboro had learned the whereabouts of her lover and Asagi herself, but Oboro only mocks her for the question.

Asagi become partly hypnotized, renders her incapable of moving willingly. Following a period, Asagi eventually succumbs to Oboro’s hypnotism, fainting. When Asagi recovers, she is taken captive within holding areas of the Chaos Arena, where she is whipped. Repeated defiance leads Oboro to personally do the whipping. However, Taimanin are trained in withstanding pain and it shows no effect. Later, Asagi meets Edwin Black within her training room, immediately feeling the demonic energy emanating from him. She senses he is a vampire, particularly through the aura of dread surrounding him. The morning after, Asagi is dressed and chained in a skimpy outfit, for Oboro and the crowd of the Chaos Arena’s pleasure. After being forced out of consciousness by Oboro once again, Asagi is subjected to body modification, being trapped within a flesh prison where she spends a week for the modification to be complete. When she later emerges from the flesh prison, dazed and confused, she’s subjected to immediate training, chained to a stool while Oboro records her. Post-training, Asagi is back within the training room when she’s shown a screen with Sakura on it.

Igawa Sakura 17

Having reached the Chaos Arena, thanks to Byg leading her to a trap, she defeated three of Oboro's ONT Ninjas, but was still overwhelmed by Oboro's strength. Losing, she’s subjected to violation through Oboro’s demonic form, tentacles applied. Oboro chokes her unconscious before the video displayed on the screen ends. However, Asagi, knowing that Sakura had trained and awoken to her own Ninja Art, suspect she might have been caught on purpose to free her later.

Asagi is told she can prevent the harm of Sakura by participating in the Chaos Arena, upon which she agrees to put herself before Sakura. Later that day, Oboro subjects her to more training, this time at the hands of Byg and other orcs. It is revealed Pig lured Sakura into the Arena. Asagi is subsequently subjected to humiliation.

Some time after, Asagi is put into the Chaos Arena to fight Power Lady, but deceivingly so under the influence of Oboro’s hypnotism. Being unable to fight, Asagi is easily fought by Power Lady, who subjects her to torment and humiliation. The humiliation is joined by the Masked Woman. The fight ends with an ogre assaulting Asagi.

Asagi vs Oboro

Asagi eventually comes to senses, facing Oboro within the training room once more. She’s told if she succeeds in another Chaos Arena fight, she’ll get to see Sakura. Oboro even goes as far as to promise not to use hypnosis. Within the Arena, Asagi realizes she’ll be facing off against Oboro herself, as a rematch for their initial fight. However, Asagi is hesitant to go all-out against her, as Oboro’s body is still fused with Kyousuke’s. During their fight, she morphs into Kyousuke’s form, causing further hesitation with Asagi. During this form, Asagi is struck, being knocked out and consequently defeated.

When she realizes Sakura’s innocence is at risk, she once again offers herself in her sister’s place. Oboro agrees on the condition Asagi "pleases" the crowd -- and with that, men from the audience join Asagi in the Arena… Following, Oboro shows Asagi a monitor with Sakura -- who, despite Oboro’s promises and Asagi’s wishes, has still been harmed, all a week earlier. Sakura had been treated much like Asagi, having gone through the body modification. She was also subsequently molested by Byg.

Asagi VS Sakura

Later on, being within the Arena once again, Asagi and Oboro are now joined by Sakura, but in a tied-up, restrained state. She’s being used like a chair for Oboro’s pleasure. The morning after, Asagi and Sakura get to meet within the training room, Asagi expressing dismay about the situation Sakura was put into. Oboro joins the two of them, telling them she’ll join them in the day’s fight; which will be between Asagi and Sakura -- to the death.

By evening, they find themselves within the Arena, Asagi being told that even if one of them wins, the other will be killed nonetheless. She also informs Asagi that her hypnosis will be applied at some point through the fight. Edwin Black watches the fight, with Oboro hoping to get rid of both sisters killing each other. Asagi herself realizes that there is no way to save Kyousuke in the current situation and the only way to save herself and her sister is to cut Oboro down, ending her enemy and fiancée.

In the Bad Endings, Asagi is unable to let go of her lover or is unable to tell that of Sakura, is able to support her in the fight, which can end in the death of both sister, or Asagi killing her sister becoming nothing but a tool for Orcs as all hope leaves her.

Oboro VS Asagi and Sakura

In the true ending, the fight commencing, both sisters fake their fight until they can come close enough to Oboro. As Asagi switches target and uses her Ninja Art to reach Oboro in seconds, with a feint attack, she is stopped by the hypnotic ninja art once again but from her shadow Sakura appears and slashes at Oboro, with Asagi temporary free finishing Oboro for good, breaking the hypnotic art. Sakura had kept her Shadow Art, a secret, to this very moment. Asagi, still griefs, over the loss of Kyosuke and would blame herself for the rest of her life.

Chaos Arena Victory

Edwin Black speaks to Asagi, satisfied that she sacrificed her lover for their survival. Unwilling to share his motivation to somebody limited by humanity, Black vanishes quickly after but allows both Taimanin to escape unhindered. Days pass, Asagi experiencing the world without Kyousuke. She meets up with the Senior once again, confronting him directly, about selling Kyousuke to the enemy, as Oboro had learned her location and about Kyousuke from him. The Senior justifies himself that Asagi was needed to return to active duty, and was only held back, viewing the cooperation with Nomad and Oboro as necessary. Stating that Asagi did not understand the danger and risk, and she and her sister would be hunted down by the government if she killed him. Asagi states she’s returning officially as a Taimanin, but she will not make the first strike, followed by Sakura appearing from her shadow, cutting the Senior. Asagi makes the killing blow, decapitating his head, with their future unsure.

Asagi and Sakura continue as Taimanin outcasts, but later on rejoin Gosha Village, leaving their old home behind.
