Yukishiro Misao

Misao Yukishiro (雪代操) is a ninja of the past age, Misao is the protagonist of MISAO Legend of the Humiliated Ninja‎‎.

She has a cameo appearance in Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena, having been replaced from her own universe.

Personality[]

Her first priority is to protect the village of Flame and its inhabitants, and she is a cold-hearted person who will stop at nothing to achieve this goal.

Because of her strict attitude, not many people are on friendly terms with her. However, she is trusted immensely, both inside and outside the village. She feels ashamed of her ability, that could be considered evil, and hides it if she can.

Misao has blue/dark purple very long hair that goes to her waist and blue/dark purple eyes.

History[]

Background[]

She lived in the Warring States era of Japan. (221 BC of an alternative world)

Chief of the Village of Flame, "Homura no Sato". She is known as the "Blue Reaper", her name is derived from her ninjutsu, which allows her to temporarily reanimate the dead and use them as moving puppets under Misao's direction. She is about to become a fiancée of Hanzo Hattori, the leader of the powerful Iga ninja group which serves the Tokugawa family.

Visual Novels[]

Everyone expected that this engagement would bring the peace to the world of ninja. However, all of a sudden, someone abducted Misao.

Timeline TABA[]

One day, one after another, in the mountains near the village, ninja began to disappear. Not just people of her own village, but also neighboring areas. Miaso sets off on a mission with her best friend Keika and younger brother, Kamina. As night moved in she ordered Keika to return, just as she wanted to return as well a shadow (Brain Flayer) appeared behind her and in the next moment she was teleported to an unfamiliar world.

Misao appears in the streets of Tokyo Kingdom City and fights her way though multiple demons that attack her. Weakened, she could only be saved by Fuuma Tokiko and Fuuma Kotaro that came just in time. They treat her wounds and until she can return to her own universe, she joins his group, in his war against Taimanin, UFS and Demons. Unlike other characters, she is not captured by the Fuuma Organization and assists them, though if Kotaro really plans to bring her back is unclear.

At some point, Misao loses an eye and gains multiple scars, which is kept in the following two "what if" events.

In one of her events, she infiltrates the Burning Plains of Astaroth but is defeated by a high ranking demon that serves the queen. Many months are passing, of her suffering through humiliation, before Kotaro recovers her. Her mind is still intact, and she gives Kotaro additional information about Astaroth.

Powers/Abilities[]

Main Weapon: Katana

Ninja Arts-like: "Phoenix" or "Blue God of Death" can reanimate corpses as puppets she can control, it also cast blue flames that can turn the living into madness. This skill is considered to be Dark Magic and not simply a Taimanin art.

Trivia[]

Though she is from another universe, it is possibly that she also existed in the main Taimanin universe. At least in the long past before the clans formed the Taimanin group, in an isolated area. The characters themselves in TABA are unsure about this, though mostly assumed it is being unrelated to the current world.
The warring States period is mentioned as the birthplace of Ninja Arts, but Fuuma Kotaro also mentions she doesn't use Taima abilities and Fuuma Tokiko states her arts are closer to dangerous Dark Magic instead.
While being in the Taimanin Asagi universe, she lost her left eye and got multiple scars for an unknown reason.
In TABA it is unclear when she gained the scars or lost the eye, as she still had suffered no injuries in her first what if event, but at the very beginning of her next one wears the eye patch. It is possible that she lost them in her prolonged stay in the demon realm, as she noted that her investigation of Astaroth is difficult.
